The Prince Arthur is the most pub-like of all the Tom and Ed Martin gastropubs, with a bustling bar dominating the small dining room, and a regular flow of locals popping in for a drink. The food leaves one in no doubt, however, that this is primarily a restaurant. The signature pudding is a deep fried jam sandwich with ice cream (much nicer than it sounds), but there are also tarts, crumbles and British cheeses for less adventurous palates.
