On the Hoof Bistro offers a great space for a range of European meals and carefully selected wines in the heart of Sydenham high street, just 5 minutes form the station. Enjoy morning meetings or relaxation with excellent coffee complimented by cheese and bacon oatcakes or a slice of daily baked cake. This is a new 40 seat restaurant designed with a chic character. Lunch specials are available during the day during the week and Saturday. In the evening choose from the a la Carte menu and try breaded camembert with homemade spiced cranberry sauce or salt and pepper squid followed with homemade beef burger or pork snitzel. Head chef Karol has introduced a selection of quality desserts and vegetarian favourites include stuffed peppers or vegetarian risotto. Cocktails include a house snow ball with an extra shot of vodka. A fine wine list is available for special occasions with vintage grand crus and the best that the new world has to offer.
