Dishoom King's Cross

Dishoom King's Cross hotels title=The third restaurant from the team behind Dishoom, the Bombay cafes in Shoreditch and Covent Garden, is also their largest - and the largest restaurant opening at King's Cross. The 9,000 square foot space on Stable Street, by Granary Square, occupies a former stable block within the Western Transit Shed. Originally used to house horses to move goods and wagons around the Granary complex from 1850-1900, the restaurant has retained the vaulted brick arches and lofty trusses of the building's previous use. Speaking of this latest addition to the Dishoom family, founder Shamil Thakrar said: "We're so pleased to be joining this iconic development at King's Cross and our new restaurant will be as unique as the environment that we're moving into." Dishoom is one of nine new restaurants, bars and cafes due to open in King's Cross between summer 2014 and 2015 including a new gastropub from the operators of the Thomas Cubitt in Belgravia, openings by the founders of the Wasabi and The Real Greek, and restaurants from Jamie Oliver and D&D London, the operators of Le Pont de la Tour and Quaglino's who are turning the German Gymnasium into a restaurant, set to open in spring 2015.
