Daniel Humm, the chef behind Eleven Madison Park, number one in The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2017, takes the helm at Claridge's new restaurant, Davies and Brook. The London restaurant borrows the design and culinary team from Eleven Madison Park, employing interior design by Brad Cloepfil from Allied Works and Executive Chef Dmitri Magi, previously chef de cuisine in New York. Both dining rooms share an art deco design with the marble-clad room in the old Metropolitan Life Building sitting just as pretty as London's art deco jewel. We're told Davies and Brook will focus on warm, inviting and engaging hospitality with delicious and beautiful cuisine. This is a fine dining restaurant that befits this wonderful five star hotel. In the adjoining Claridge's Bar, Leo Robitschek and Pietro Collina, the award winning team behind NYC bars at The NoMad and Eleven Madison Park, create cocktails inspired by the food.
