The Big Chill Festival, held annually in August, is the spiritual home of the ageing raver, and the Big Chill Bar on Brick Lane attempts to recreate its laidback, chat-to-anyone attitude. It's a long low-ceilinged bar with relaxing, unfussy decor and some quirky touches - notably a massive silver buffalo-head next to the door - that distinguish it nicely from the everyday DJ bar.
