Hotels near Bistrot Bruno Loubet

French chef Bruno Loubet has been lured back from Australia after an eight-year stint to head up the Bistro Bruno Loubet at The Zetter, a notably hip hotel in Clerkenwell. Described as "one of the significant restaurant launches of 2010" (by Fay Maschler in the Evening Standard), there was a sense of anticipation when it was announced that Bruno had partnered up with Zetter owners Mark Sainsbury and Michael Benyon to open this
eponymous bistro. After sampling the menu Giles Coren, writing in The Times, concluded that "we are very lucky to have him back." Sample dishes include seared tuna to start with pan-fried breast of wood pigeon as a main but all of it cooked in a French rustic style. The dining room benefits from high ceilings and curved, modern contours creating a bright, high and airy space in which to enjoy the hearty cooking.
