Founded by Usha Arumugam, Ushvani aims to transcend superficial pampering and get to the core of the mind, body and spirit. Utilising their extensive knowledge of holistic well-being combined with some of the world's finest ingredients, it's easy to see why this spa won Tatler's Best Day Spa award in 2012. Well-being, health and relaxation is the focus, and is delivered with natural herbs, spices, flowers and Malaysian inspired methods. Treatments include Coconut Milk Wraps and Ginger and Kaffir Lime Scrubs. Along with its spa pool, steam room and five treatment rooms, Ushvani also has a private room named Asmara, which is the Malay word for 'love'. Asmara provides a private place for friends, couples and loved ones to relax in complete intimacy, with a fruit platter on arrival, a steam room, hydrotherapy stone bath and two hours of unadulterated relaxation aided by the holistic therapists. Ushvani also run Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes in their mediation room.
