Tickets for Queens Gallery

When?

Queens Gallery

Seize the chance to view close-up some rarely seen works of art from the Royal Collection - one of the finest art collections in the world.

Part of Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s Gallery was a conservatory until 1962 and is located on the site of the palace’s former private chapel. It now proves a stunning home for these unique and changing exhibitions which are selected from some 9000 items held in trust by The Queen for the nation. The Royal Collection is particularly rich in the works of Old Masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt. The exhibitions are usually themed and can last between 12 and 18 months.

Did You Know?

For many years the Queen's art adviser was Sir Anthony Blunt, who was exposed in 1979 as a Soviet spy and stripped of his knighthood.
