Visit Queens Gallery
Seize the chance to view close-up some rarely seen works of art from the Royal Collection - one of the finest art collections in the world.
Part of Buckingham Palace, the Queens Gallery was a conservatory until 1962 and is located on the site of the palaces former private chapel. It now proves a stunning home for these unique and changing exhibitions which are selected from some 9000 items held in trust by The Queen for the nation. The Royal Collection is particularly rich in the works of Old Masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt. The exhibitions are usually themed and can last between 12 and 18 months.
Dutch Landscapes (15th April - 9th October 2011)
This exhibition brings together 42 remarkable works from the golden age of Dutch painting, including landscapes by Jacob van Ruisdael, Aelbert Cuyp and Meyndert Hobbema.
Did You Know?
For many years the Queen's art adviser was Sir Anthony Blunt, who was exposed in 1979 as a Soviet spy and stripped of his knighthood.

The Queen's Gallery operates a timed-ticket system, with admission every 15 minutes throughout the day. You do not need to book a specific time!
