Take care booking this hotel, for though there was praise for the “very friendly staff”, the “comfortable” bed and the “good choice of draught beer and drinks” in the bar area, some people in rooms facing the road found it “very noisy”: “You need to improve the double-glazing on the windows” was the advice while others commented on the “road outside and could not shut window”. However one visitor noted it was, “Not as noisy as we were expecting after reading various reviews and we were over looking the main road” and most people “enjoyed our stay, would use again” and one even named it “the best hotel so far in London that I stayed at”.

The room's interior was very poor. The carpet was dirty
and worn, the shades for the lamps near the bed were
very frayed and worn/broken. Certainly not in line with
what is expected of a Hilton hotel. The staff was very
polite and helpful.  |

After booked online, I called to tell them that I need a quiet room.
Unfortunately people in the next room watched TV with loud
volume over the mid night, I called reception but they were not
helpful, I ended up to move room at 00.20am, the new room was
not good either due to the noisy air con. The hotel needs a good
refurbishing and some sound proof walls. I won't stay there
again. |

Beds were placed so that the reading lights were not
onj the side, but directly above the sleeping position
and low enough to hit ones head on. Also one small
central bedside tablen to share, not good enough! |

Hotel Room small but had everything and more that we needed for an overnight stay. Opted for evening meal and breakfast and could not fault either the food or staff. Friendly, helpful and courteous. Would definately use again!! |
