Una fastuosa renovación de ochenta millones de libras ha devuelto el brillo a este hotel victoriano que abrió sus puertas por primera vez en 1865... el primer gran hotel de Londres y, probablemente, el más elegante. El restaurante Roux at The Landau y el bar de cócteles Artesian son impresionantes (gracias al arquitecto David Collins), y el Pal Court es el lugar ideal para tomar el té de la tarde. El estupendo salón de baile, el balneario Chuan Spa y la piscina de dieciséis metros aumentan la sensación de lujo y, al mismo tiempo, confirman que este es un lugar muy especial en el que alojarse.

This “fantastic hotel in the heart of London” has “excellent” service “from arrival outside the hotel to checking out” with “helpful, friendly and polite” staff. The beds in the “very comfortable and well-equipped rooms” are among “the best hotel beds ever”, although some rooms have “no view”. It has a “perfect” location “only a ten minute walk from Oxford Street” but “once inside the hotel” it’s an oasis of calm, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. While some found the mini-bar goods to be “overpriced”, others described the Artesian Bar as “first class” with “very good” food. Breakfast is also “terrific” and meals at the hotel restaurant are deemed “delicious”.

Westayed one night at te Langham Hotel and were treated extremely well. Everyone was friendly, efficient and helpful. Boththe hotel staff and the restaurant staff in Roux at the Landau went the extra mile, withiut being asked, when they discivered we were there for a special occasion. I would definitely go back anytime. |
