London Stansted Airport (STN) is 48km north east of London, in Essex, just off the M11 motorway. It is London's main hub for low cost European airlines such as Ryanair.

Opened in 1991 and designed by Norman Foster, Stansted Airport terminal is known for its award winning architecture which uses steel ‘trees' to support a lightweight roof, allowing generous open spaces and lots of natural daylight. Stansted Airport parking includes both long and short stay, as well as a valet parking service.

The London Stansted Airport hotels are Radisson Stansted and Hilton Stansted. The Hilton is located by the Stansted airport (long stay) parking while the Radisson is directly linked to the main terminal and features the incredible ‘wine tower' - more than 4,000 bottles in a glass tower, retrieved by bar ‘angels' using special flying apparatus. Both four-star ventures have business facilities, a gym, a sauna, bars/restaurants, and a swimming pool so you can unwind after meetings, or start your holiday early.

For cheap hotels at Stansted there is an Express Holiday Inn within five minutes of the airport, reached by a the hotel transfer bus.

Other Stansted Airport Hotels can be found in nearby towns and villages such as Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Brentwood, and Cambridge, all within easy reach of Stansted by car.
