Fergus Henderson is renowned for bringing simple British cooking back into vogue and following a bakery and two restaurants in the East end, has opened a small hotel with restaurant with longtime collaborator Trevor Gulliver in the unlikely touristy location of the West End, albeit, in a wee side street off Leicester Square in the shadow of the W London behemoth and on the former site of theatre goers institution Manzi's. The restaurant is open early for breakfast until late and there is also an exclusive bar open only to hotel residents as well as diners. A welcome addition to the central London ever improving restaurant scene and bound to become a favourite of those seeking something a bit off the beaten track.
