From the black paint exterior to the generous sized, individually styled rooms, there's a wonderful attention to detail and opulence - no wonder celebrities like it. It's pricey, yes, but four posters and private balconies help to make this a very special place to stay.

Since my first stay ten years ago, the Blakes has not only managed to keep intact the splendor of its rooms, but made significant improvements in service. Gone is the haughty attitude of the staff: the new team is wonderfully welcoming and friendly. This time, it won't be ten years before I return...  |
