Providing work for those who have previously struggled, the Good Hotel has earned its name. The striking hotel, which can be found floating at the historic Royal Victoria Docks, brings together design and community by creating an inviting space that encourages interaction between staff and guests. From the outside, the hotel looks like a giant shipping container with an astroturf roof while on the inside guests are greeted by a modern open plan ground floor called the 'living room', which has a bar, reception and library in one. The 148 bedrooms are small and minimalistic yet cosy and comfortable while the in-house restaurant continues the theme of community with a tapas and sharing menu. The hotel also boasts free WiFi throughout and plenty of work and meeting spaces aimed at entrepreneurs, start-ups and creatives.
