The Business Design Centre next door is the obvious attraction for many of the guests at this smart, efficient Hilton Hotel, but Islington's excellent restaurants and nightlife have made it an increasingly popular place to stay for those who want to avoid the bustle of Central London. Spacious rooms and public areas make this a good place to relax, and it also offers excellent connections to the city centre.

Excellent customer service ("attentive but not obsequious") combined with "large rooms, "king-size beds" and "great food" all made a strong impression on guests of the Hilton Islington. Those who stayed here found it difficult to find anything negative to say; "I couldn't find a fault with anything seemed to be the general consensus. Above all it was the willingness of staff to "go the extra mile" that appealed to guests...The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived which was early morning. The hotel even arranged for our evening meal to be delivered to our room as we were still jet lagged."I liked everything about the hotel from its location to the staff" seems to sum up the overall experience of most guests at the Hilton Islington.

I stay in 30-50 hotels per year so when one stands out, I am very happy to let others know. From the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out, I could not fault the service, or the friendliness of the staff. I am a smoker, and I am discriminated against by many hotel chains, so I will not use their hotels. The most delightful question I can be asked when checking in is: "Smoking or non-smoking?", and I really was pleased to be offered the choice. Thank you for providing a super service!

Our room was perfect. Staff were delightful and so helpful, arranging taxis for us and because the ice machine was out of action the staff brought a bucket of ice to our room. I would definately stay again and recommend Hilton Islington to travellers. |
