“As soon as you step into this hotel you get the ‘holiday feeling’” wrote one relaxed and happy guest. “With the reception being in the bar it gives the hotel a much more relaxed feeling.” This appreciation was repeated by several guests who “thought the place was lovely and greatly enjoyed my stay”. The “lively bar in evenings” was singled out for praise and described as “very vibrant and very well designed. The décor is also very pleasing on the eye”. However, there is “no formal restaurant” and the “main restaurant… offered pretty much the same food” as the bar. In summary, this is “a great hotel in a wonderful position” where “the staff were courteous and helpful”.

Lovely hotel, but my room on the 6th floor was near the function room, which had been hired out, so didn't sleep much as could hear loud music. Maybe ask for a room on a different floor and then I'm sure it's a good place to stay.  |

The hotel is superbly positioned, yet lovely and quiet inside. Huge rooms -we had a twin room and had a double bed each!! Breakfast was excellent too -I will def be back and will bring the family too. Very impressed! |

Welcoming arrival and well appointed room (albeit without any view). This hotel has a great location, central to the theatre district, Whitehall and Parliament and all the museums - good for "urban hikers"! |

Hotel itself was great evening music in the bar a bit out of keeping with rest of ambiance throughout hotel, this actually discouraged us from using the bar. Disappointed that roof top bar was not available as this was one of the attractions in booking this venue. Breakfast was a joy I would book again but make sure in advance which facilities were available |
