Our stay at the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes was great.
The workers helped us at any time with kindness and
professionalism. I would only make a negative comment
about the extra bed we had at the room, as it was
absolutely uncomfortable. |

Super easy location, very central, tube 3 minutes walk. Although a twin room was requested and booked, on arrival we were told that we had a double but with an etxra bed. After lengthy discusssions we were offered 50 pounds reduction and we were moved for the second night.
The very positive aspects are that personnel are very helpful, well trained, extremely guest orientated. One special mention is Salvatore, the concierge, who researced, advised and booked us super restaurants, and generally have to say,he really went that very important genuine extra human mile.
Even though the rooms do look their age, the comfy beds, elemis toiletries , clean and tidy, enough space, make up for the used look of some of the furniture. Breakfast was good, quite a cosy breakfast area, and acceptable for a 4 star hotel. All in all, honestly, if you are looking for a weekend get a way, for shopping, theatre, sighseeing and not hyper picky about a little scratch or blemish on the furnishings...This is a good choice for a central , reasonable value for money London hotel.

I could not believe the service from Sherlock Homes Hotel, Baker Street, London, it was second to none experienced before, so friendly, so caring, so observant to your needs, very obliging, a lovely stay in London made all the better by staying at the Sherlock Homes Hotel, Park Plaza, London.
