The sweeping staircase is the first thing you notice when you walk into this historic hotel. Elegant, old fashioned décor including stained glass windows and real fireplaces make a stay here the quintessential English experience. But don't be fooled by the quiet, the bustle of the city is just outside the door with all the attractions Kensington has to offer.

The beds had wheels and were all over the place. There was no iron in the room and when requested the night before they didn't send. had a big meeting the next morning and had to request again in the morning. When we called they said they had valet but didn't tell us we had to walk all the way down to the sister hotel to use it. Bellmen and door men were fantastic. Olives was good. ![]() |
