Room nice and contempary but i have never been so interuppted during a hotel stay(3 seperate calls from reception over the day that for a different room)we had paid for a late(4pm check-out) but were awoken twice in the morning by maids. So there is generally poor communication in the hotel to a point i would say it was apathetic/poor- I could go on. On the up side the room decor was attractive and comfortable and clean/breakfast was lovely and lots of nice style points in and around the hotel but the staff and their teutonis level of questioning undermined everything positive. Also the card operated lift was just another irritation when you are tired from travelling plus the didn't tell us about it at reception so we stood in a lift that resolutely refused to take us to our room-very annoying-good for your hotel security but when your hands are full with bags etc the last thing you want is to find the keycard again i've put back in my wallet very inconvenient-and the reception staff not telling us about this system is unforgivable |

Room was very clean, slightly dusty, but glass surfaces are hard to eliminate dust and fingermarks at best of times. Azure restaurent, quality of food/service excellent. One point I mentioned to reception was that mens shower in the Spa was scolding, far too hot, until I adjusted the setting. The only thing was the location, slightly distant from public transport. Would use the hotel again or at least try one of the others in the organisation. |
