A discreet boutique Edwardian hotel, with a hushed and welcoming atmosphere, the Cadogan's past guests include Oscar Wilde, who was arrested in room 118 in 1895, and Lillie Langtry with her royal companion Edward, the future King of England. The rich, sumptuous d'cor, the lush private garden, the location at the heart of aristocratic London (just off Sloane Square), and the fine restaurant continue to attract guests to this day.

The staff are extremely friendly and efficient, they
made us feel very welcome and our every request
was dealt with speedily and with a smile. Our room
was cosy and bright. The bed unfortunately was
uncomfortable, the first time I have had this problem
in a hotel as generally I'm not fussy about a hard or
soft mattress. This one however was lumpy. It's a
measure of the wonderful atmosphere of this hotel
that despite not sleeping well as a result of an
uncomfortable bed, we actually would go back (and
ask for a comfortable bed the next time). ![]() |
