Having undergone a £20million refurbishment in recent years, the four storey townhouse has been restored to its 19th century elegance whilst it now boasts all the modern features that you'd want from a hotel. Inside, the modern Tiger Bar is a great place to meet whether it's for business or pleasure or whether you want a cup of coffee, glass of wine or quick snack. Of course, five stars aren't just handing out to any hotel and it's the high standards of service that The Kensington Hotel particularly prides itself on. With helpful staff on hand to leave guests with a flask of warm milk by their bedside at night or provide departing guests with a bottle of water for the flight home, the Kensington Hotel are guided by the mantra that "great service is in the detail.

The “location [of the hotel is] very good, handy for tube and in a nice area for walking around.” While most guests were happy enough with the rooms, describing them as “great and spacious with comfortable beds” one well rested customer claimed it to be “probably the best room I have stayed in”. Staff, too, were praised as “exemplary” and “they could not have been more helpful”. In fact, the only complaint was a minor one about the lack of parking with one guest being, “very lucky finding a car park space opposite”.

Room very small and was disturbed by noise from lifts and other rooms as well as noise from the road. Tiny bathroom including only a shower, no bath. Very disappointing for the rate charged. |
