At times a victim of its own popularity this hotel hotspot offering “stunning views” directly overlooking Tower Bridge, St Katherine’s Dock and the Thames, combined with “very reasonable” rates, attracts more visitors than it is, perhaps, “equipped to cater for”. Queues at breakfast and check-in, a “busy” lift spanning its “soaring” floors and a “bustling” bar make The Tower a lively, at times “overcrowded” venue. It’s worth opting for an upgrade if you can – make the most of the “amazing skyline” and avoid being landed with one of the more “dated, scruffy” rooms.

A rusty stainless steel grab handle next to the shower made the bathroom look rather shabby and spoiled the otherwise very smart look of the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views and location. |
