The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi are “just lovely” and “the main reason I stay here” for some guests who find the facilities “very refreshing after working in London all day”. Customers liked the bar area including a big screen and “impressive” entertainment facilities. The location “close proximity to Liverpool Street Station and Moorfields Eye Hospital” is also handy for theatre/arts events at the Barbican. However it is “not close enough to the major sites if you are a tourist” for some and nor is it “close enough to transport when carrying bags” according to another guest. If you prefer the personal touch you may find a stay here “a bit impersonal” despite the efforts of the “friendly and courteous” staff. Look out for added costs including the “high cost of basic breakfast” and parking at £20 a day even for residents which may not be clear at first.

I had a great stay as the staff were very helpful in all
kinds of matters but the only let down was when i
asked for an Iron they brought me only to find one in
my room and they never told me how hot it was going
to be so when I went to Iron my new shirt I got a
little burn mark I was going to an job fair so I was in a
panic but lucky I was able to sort it that was the only
downside to my stay apart from that it was great.

Room was small but adequate. In dire need of refurbishmant.Bedding and towels new and fresh though. Reception staff both on check in and check out friendly and chatty.Hotel was ideally situated, a short walk to Sadlers Wells and Islington Business Centre. |
