Thistle Marble Arch, a classic Art Deco hotel, is one of the few hotels overlooking Oxford Street - one of London's most famous shopping districts. With Bond Street not far and Hyde Park opposite, it is the perfect place to explore London attractions and the West End. This large hotel offers a host of little luxuries like Access to Health and Fitness Center, flat screen LCD TV with Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities and your own fridge.

Set in a “brilliant”, “central” location overlooking Oxford Street and just a “one minute walk to Selfridges”, this hotel has “cosy”, “good sized” rooms that are “excellent for the money”. A couple of non-smoking rooms “smelt of stale smoke” when the air-conditioning was on but, on the plus side, the hotel was generally described as “very clean”. All staff members were found to be “friendly and helpful” and at reception guests mentioned that checking in and out was “very quick”. After a good night’s sleep it was great to wake up to an “excellent” breakfast with a “good choice” on offer.

The hotel was ok but a bit old equipped in the
bathroom. The shower wasn¨t working. The staff
could have been a bit more serviceminded - they
were doing a job not more. The hotel didn't have a
"feeling" to it which I had expected. Location
excellent. |

We had a comfortable stay, the only complaint that
my wife would have is that the hair driers in the
rooms are dreadful, you would be better off with an
ordinary plug in drier! |
