On their second or third visit one guest can’t say enough about the Chesterfield Mayfair: they like the location, “comfortable rooms with very thoughtful amenities (stapler, highlighters etc. in the desk), excellent service and friendly staff (who speak English fluently – not always the case in London)”. It’s the popular consensus on this “elegant and inviting” hotel which is “not cheap but at least you get what you pay for (often in London you don't!)”. One couple “discovered the Chesterfield by accident; and what an extraordinary pleasurable accident it was. A four star hotel, seven star service!” “Attention to detail, warmth of the staff, choice of food” were all praised as “excellent”. Another guest “also appreciated that everything was included (so there were) no surprises”.

The breakfast was not very nice. (I had full breakfast
paid for). I don't think it was really worth it and
wouldn't get the breakfast again. Coffee tasted
horrible and so did the Scottish fish and eggs I had.
The staff are very friendly and helpful particularly the
girls on reception.
