On their second or third visit one guest can’t say enough about the Chesterfield Mayfair: they like the location, “comfortable rooms with very thoughtful amenities (stapler, highlighters etc. in the desk), excellent service and friendly staff (who speak English fluently – not always the case in London)”. It’s the popular consensus on this “elegant and inviting” hotel which is “not cheap but at least you get what you pay for (often in London you don't!)”. One couple “discovered the Chesterfield by accident; and what an extraordinary pleasurable accident it was. A four star hotel, seven star service!” “Attention to detail, warmth of the staff, choice of food” were all praised as “excellent”. Another guest “also appreciated that everything was included (so there were) no surprises”.

The location is good, the service friendly, housekeeping
works well , nice sheets and towels, great magnifying
mirrors in the bathroom. I also looked at a newly
decorated suite, I cannot recommend the interior
decorator. Decided not to take it, the wallpaper would
have made me dizzy  |

The Staff is excellent, my room very nice, except
windows not double glazed, cold & windy conditions =
draft= need heating in excess. bathroom -very nice,
good size but bath/shower fixtures old fashion not
practical. Other all very clean. The restaurant is
good.Breakfast more fresh fruit and choice of real
fresh bread. Room serv/ quality/food needs more
attention.
Location very good if you need tb around Mayfair. |
