Leave the laptop at home - every room at this hotel comes with its own Apple iMac. Across the river from the MI6 building, it's a good base for exploring Westminster's sights. Considering Big Ben and Tate Britain are within walking distance prices are excellent. The clean and contemporary design has glass and chrome throughout while the modern restaurant includes a street side terrace for al fresco dining.

Providing “what it says on the tin”, this “beautifully designed”, “modern” venue with an “inviting feel” might be a “bit of a walk” (10 minutes) from the nearest Tube but its location “near the river” means the Tate Modern and Westminster are “almost on your doorstep”. A visually “interesting” venue with modern art in the lobby, rooms are “sparkling clean”, well-equipped with “everything needed” and “tidy”, although some feel “overlooked”.

Enjoyed my stay was good to return to the hotel. Hotel should consider its pricing structure and I might stay more often rather than using the equally excellent facilities of the Park Plaza across the river  |

The friendly, welcoming staff made our weekend
break here a delightful experience. The room was well-
furnished and comfortable, with plenty of space.
Although we had booked room-only, the room service
is excellent and offers an "Express Breakfast" (drink
and a pastry/bacon roll etc) option which you can
collect from the restaurant at your pre-booked time -
excellent value and far more suited to our needs for
sightseeing on the go than the Full English which
would have been included if we'd booked the B&B
option. |

I've stayed in many hotel's over the years but doubletree was
the best i've experienced, and it was all down to the staff. The
best customer service i've experienced in any organisation.
Friendly & efficient service, second to none.. and no, i haven't
been paid to write this. Will definately be staying there again on
my next visit to london. |
