You can still feel the excitement and bustle of ships laden with goods, unloading their wares in London's Docklands. Now a burgeoning centre for some of the world's leading companies, the hotel is ideally located for business travellers and offers spectacular views of the capital and Canary Wharf. The ferry service between the hotel and Canary Wharf is now complimentary in both directions for all hotels guests. The hotel is no longer allowed to operate the courtesy bus service to Canada Water.

The “position of the hotel i.e. overlooking the Thames” is one of its most attractive features. It’s also “very clean and the food was great”. Though most guests found the “bigger than average”, “clean and comfortable” rooms more than adequate one described theirs as “a bit shabby”. The gym and indoor pool too could do with some attention – “dirty and in great need of a revamp” said one while another described the pool as “not very impressive, too old and small”. When it came to service, guests “found the staff very helpful and understanding, in all the staff were fantastic” though one suggestion was that more information “about high and low tides and also about bus service to tube” would have been helpful as “It's impossible to get a taxi at Canada Waters at night”. This didn’t stop plenty of guests saying, “We had a lovely time and we will be booking a stay there again”.

Generally a pleasant stay, helpfull staff, excellant breakfast. The room was tucked away at the back most part of the hotel and lacked any view (aside from pipes). Items in the room seemed a little tired/dated such as phones, faulty lamp, faulty window, bulky plug sockets which were not of the standard I would expect of a Hilton Hotel but it was still a nice stay.  |

In fact we decided to come back for two more nights. Great staff, especially the bellman who checked us in and went the extra mile from helping us park to getting us hot chocolate...older black gentleman...incredible. Great breakfast. Nice to not charge for parking...that is why I refused to go to London Kensington which wants 32 pounds a day for parking...obscene. |

I was a little disappointed that the ferry service only started at 9am, my seminar was at 8.30! So we had to get a taxi, and as the tunnel was closed had to go all the way around to get there, with the traffic and extra 9 pounds on the meter! Not good. People need to be warned about it. |

The room not to Hilton standard We felt as if we slept in a loft, low ceiling with rediculous windows. no fridge in the room and no shuttle service, so disappointed and the room was not worth £160 per night we paid !! |
