Just a footbridge away from Paddington Station, this is the perfect place to stay if you're coming or going on the Heathrow Express. Originally built in 1854 - and thoroughly modernised in 2002 and again in 2012 - it's certainly far more attractive than any airport hotel and handy for those who need access to Central London too. With the airport just 15 minutes away by Heathrow Express and Paddington Station's extensive travel links, this is perhaps one of the best connected hotels in town. If you feel like staying in, enjoy the culinary delights of the celebrated Brasserie Restaurant or a late night drink in the Steam Bar. The hotel also features a state-of-the-art fitness centre as well as a business centre, complete with 18 meeting rooms.

"I enjoyed everything about my stay at the Hilton" enthused a happy visitor who was typical of the feedback we received for this hotel. A stay here is deemed "Good value for money" with "Very courteous staff" making for an "Extremely pleasant stay". Guests "loved the art deco style and comfy beds" and thought that the "Room was big for central London". Also appreciated was the "Ideal location. Next to Paddington Station" - in fact, "the hotel is directly opposite an exit from the underground station (which) was a real bonus". Minor irritations were the "extortionate" bar bill "(£10 for a gin and tonic!)" and mini bar prices, the advice being to drink elsewhere - and with a hotel so centrally located, "a leisurely walk to Hyde Park", there are plenty of places to choose from.

Excellent food in restaurant.
Need to open station door for the first Heathrow Express departure in the early morning. It is a short walk but can be wet out in the street!  |

From check in to check out I Lund the staff to be very
friendly and efficient and always ready to please.
The hotel is in close proximity to St Mary's hospital, I
explained to the receptionist that my child had an
appointment and that I might need a late check out.
My check out time was increased by 1 hour
immediately. |

The room was comfortable but I was disappointed in the very poor quality of the toilet paper and the rather hard bath sheets. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. |

The Hotel and the rooms were of a high standerd but the room I stayed in would not cool down it was only about 13 degrees out side both windows were open A/C was on full chiling but the room would not cool down the only thing I could put it down to was the heat the TV was giving off |
