You probably won't hear the words value for money that often this close to the ultra chic King's Road but Jurys Inn is a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Chelsea with spacious, spotless rooms. Football fans will enjoy soaking up the atmosphere around the Chelsea and Fulham grounds but good transport links open up the rest of London too.

The Jurys Chelsea attracted plenty of praise for its staff, who were “attentive”, “hospitable” and “cheery”. Those who were out of sight were also clearly doing a good job, since it was “spotlessly clean everywhere”. The rooms were “clean”, “bright” and “beautiful”, with “lots of space”. The one regular complaint was that the hotel was a “bit remote from the Tube” and “15 minute walk from nearest tube staton was long and boring”, though guests also noted that “good restaurants and pubs were within walking distance” - the King's Road is a ten-minute walk away where there are “plenty of cool little shops”.

Breakfast was not included in our rate but we decided to have breakfast in the hotel anyway. I was very impressed that they did not charge me for my 8 year old son only my 12 year old son - my 8 year old son eats little so I would not have wanted to pay for a full breakfast when he only had one sausage and beans! |

Hotel staff were the best asset of this hotel, friendly and nice. our room was reasonable but the bathroom extractor fan did not work so the bathroom became a steam room quickly and the shower water was poor. had better breakfasts too at many hotels with more choice than here. it cost us £10 extra each because we did had room only booking, and we got no service except for the collection of plates from our table. |
