Mostly guests said they “haven’t got a bad word to say” about The Mayfair Hotel. In fact, they loved its “superb ambience”, the “chic and buzzing” bar, as well as the “superb” rooms, breakfast, and service, all of which “were excellent”. It was “100% 1st class all round” one happy customer claimed while another thought “the whole ambience of the hotel was first class and I should know I am working within a 4 star hotel in the north of England!!”. In addition, its central, “easy to get to” location near the Underground is “very convenient for visiting places of interest in London”. On the odd occasion where guests had cause for complaint these were on minor issues: the “Long wait for the elevators, especially in the mornings” and the “limited” spa facilities which were “lacking in variety and some things were not working”. On the whole, though, guests intended to return to this “classy establishment”.

Our room was too hot - difficulty in rectifying this. No one informed us that we had to use a switch in order for our room to be cleaned! The television was also unreliable. |

Great family room in a very central location. Many places near the hotel for breakfast or a snack as well as a supermarket next door for some late evening nibbles. Overall we had a great stay. |

The only fault i would say is the hairdryer in my room wasnt up to much, I to hold the button on for it to blow continuely... and i have long hair so had a pretty sore finger at the end of it. It is somthing you would see at the council run swimming baths!!!! |
