The rooms are “sumptuous” in this “cosy” hotel with “delightful décor”. Situated in a “lovely area” in Mayfair, it is “close to shopping” in Oxford Street and Bond Street and well placed for “great morning walks in Hyde Park”. This is a “great hotel for a girls’ weekend in London” and “very comfortable and safe” for families with babies. The experience starts on first entering the hotel through the “exceptionally beautiful” lobby and from there the “excellent service all round” from the“very kind” and “professional” staff adds to that experience. Brian Turner’s bar and restaurant are “wonderful” and, although breakfast is “very expensive”, there is an “excellent” choice.

I was disppointed that it did not compare to other hotels I have stayed in around the area (eg Park Lane Hilton). The room location was bad so the nosie from the traffic kept me awake all night. The attention from the hotel staff was minimal. |
