For understated chic this hotel on the banks of the Thames opposite the Tate Britain is a top choice. The rooms are clean and modern and some have spectacular river views stretching all the way to the Houses of Parliament. The very centre of town is quite a walk but the waterside route is pretty and an attraction in itself.

This “modern and clean” hotel is described by guests both as a “business hotel” and as a “very funky”, “young, happy and indeed very ‘with it’” place to stay. “The rooms are very neat and comfortable” and bathrooms “are very modern and spacious”. Being “close to the Houses of Parliament and London Eye (10 min to walk)” also scores points with satisfied customers. The only issue raised was “the fact the closest underground station, Vauxhall is quite a distance away is not too good”. In general, the “pleasant and relaxing” atmosphere and “decor of a very high standard” ensured that guests would not only “recommend this hotel to peers” but would also “stay at the Park Plaza in future”.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Riverbank Hotel. It was a short walk from the tube station and on arrival all staff were very polite and helpful. We opted for breakfast the following morning for which there was lots of choice to choose from. We would recommend staying at this hotel and will book again in the future. |
