Described as a “great business traveller hotel”, the Radisson Edwardian Sussex is “centrally located, clean and stylish” and “the room was as expected from a Radisson Hotel”. Most visitors said “I would definitely stay there again” and “I will likely come back next time I am in London”. But one guest found the “lift is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly slow and there is only one lift”, they felt this was enough to “switch to the Selfridge Hotel, simply due to speed of getting in and out of the hotel”. However, the “location was fantastic” and the “somewhat claustrophobic” room can be dismissed as “immaterial, given the London central standard”. In general, the “cleanliness, facilities in room, comfort and safety - all rate well” and “the décor, upholstery and fixtures and fittings were all very modern and comfortable” meaning “the hotel had a very sophisticated modern feel” which guests rated highly.

Although the staff were helpful and courtesy, the accommodation was not worth the money. The room was a tiny box room, the safe deposit box did not work, my bill had items that I had not used such as drinks, movies etc. When I asked for a taxi in the morning the receptionist suggested a private cab company rather than a black cab and said the price from the hotel to St Pancras station would be THIRTY FIVE POUNDS, which I declined. I caught a black cab and it cost me less than TEN POUNDS. I got the impression that I was taken for a tourist and the receptionist was trying to rip me off. Finally somebody should explain to the receptionist that there is a thin line between being friendly and downright rude and nosey. |

The Radisson Staff is among the BEST! The Radisson Staff made us feel at home, were highly professional and effecient. The Hotel Room was very clean and professionally cleaned daily and was emaculate. In addition, the location is close to the Underground which made travel throughout the city easy. Overall, a very good hotel that I would recommend to anyone. |
