Room sizes vary from small and compact to big suites with their own balconies.

Centrally located on the busy Cromwell Road, the “spacious” reception, bar and restaurant in this “elegant” hotel are “nicely appointed”. The Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt boasts a “good location for the Albert Hall”, the museums and is “handy to the shops” with plenty of “local restaurants and bars” on your doorstep. Room sizes vary tremendously: some offer a “lovely big room and en suite” with “plenty of space” and some even have their own “little balcony”. However others are “so small” and “very stuffy” with “small… high up" windows. Some twins have “only one small wardrobe” and limited luggage space. Look out for the temperamental lift which is “very small and quite slow”. But don’t let these minor irritations put you off, one impressed guest claimed, “the service at this hotel was exemplary” and they “couldn’t fault this hotel” while another enjoyed “a very pleasant stay all round”.

Great location - very close to Gloucester Road Tube, helpful front desk, spacious room, comfortable bed. Have breakfast and cafe au lait at Paul just around the corner.  |

The hotel staff was wonderful - they were very helpful and friendly
The only drawback was the lift. It was slow and we had to wait 10 minutes to carry our luggage.

Great service overall. Staff service was outstanding. I arrived a day earlier and needed to add one more day to my stay and they did accomodate it right away. Room rather small yet confy. Bar service rather slow. Like the fact they had all these newspapers readily available. Like the gym available also. |
