The Hotel had just opened when I stayed there so
there are some teething problems which is to be
expected. The tv screen in the bathroom did not
work; the advise from the porter as to what was
chargeable and not chargeable in the fridge was not
entirely clear so we ate what we thought was
complementary. It would have helped with if
chargeable items were clearly marked or separately
displayed. Hotel location is absolutely fantastic in
terms of access but a little noisy because of the tube
station being right underneath. So I think it evens
things out. Concierge services need to be improved
since Ampersand wishes to be rated 5*. At the
moment, it feels it is still finding its feet but it is
made up for the cheerfulness and enthusiasm of the
staff. And I'm sure it will improve in time.  |
