The fully refurbished rooms also bear in mind the modern traveller with appropriate facilities such as plasma- screen Tvs and Bose Ipod docking stations. Hotel features include a gym, Brasserie bar and restaurant, chic champagne and cocktail bar and a traditional lounge serving full afternoon tea. The hotel is also home to the Grand Imperial restaurant which invites guests into an intimate atmosphere and offers authentic Cantonese dishes. The Grosvenor is adjacent to Victoria mainline railway station. Many of London's famous landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament, are within easy walking distance of this elegant and spacious Victorian hotel.

The service at this central hotel is “great”; “when there was no hot water one morning… they simply upgraded me to a better room… with wine and chocolate as an apology”. It’s also extremely well located for “areas of interest and the Underground” as well as Victoria railway station offering “easy access from the Gatwick Express”. “Clean rooms” are “well equipped and of a good size” There is “no freeview” so you only get the basic five TV terrestrial channels. Clearly, these details don’t bother most visitors who “wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel” while others have already "booked for another night’s stay”. One fan enthusiastically describes it as a “charming, romantic place… like a home away from home”.

The Grosvenor Hotel was a very nice surprise, friendly
and helpful staff and all rooms and bathrooms were
perfectly clean, it definitely warrants it's 4 star status.
Bathroom small but very functional with a rain shower
head and handheld shower head too. Exceptional
value at 59GBP through Londontown. Will use it
again as it right next to Victoria station and the
Gatwick Express. They also gave me a late check out
free of charge. I really recommend this Hotel. DOC

Was very impressed with the hotel and more inportantly the price. Thought I was going to turn up and my booking be wrong due to the low price but it wasnt! Thank goodness! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London! It is a great find and I will definately be going back! |
