Thistle Trafalgar Square, The Royal Trafalgar is a recently refurbished 4 star hotel located right in the heart of London's famous West End. Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square are all within only a five minute walk , making the hotel an ideal accommodation choice for those wishing to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. There are 108 bedrooms, all completely refurbished, including Standard and Executive rooms. On the ground floor, both the Lounge and Gravity Bar serve a wide selection drinks and snacks making them perfect surroundings for after work or before dinner drinks. During the day, The Gravity Bar can also be used for small meetings and events seating up to 20 people theatre and classroom style or 50 reception.

The appeal of this hotel is that it is within “easy walking distance of all major attractions” and offers “clean” rooms that are “quiet despite being so near Trafalgar Square”. There are “some tiny rooms” and the “rundown” bathrooms let down an “otherwise very nicely kept hotel” but other guests noted that it is “very good value for money”. The “extremely helpful, welcoming and accommodating” reception staff make “check-in painless” and there is a “very friendly atmosphere” throughout the hotel. The food is “yummy”, especially the breakfast which is “cooked to order” and has “a big selection on offer”.
