This practical, budget hotel is a great value considering its exclusive postcode within leafy Notting Hill. The hotel was established with young people in mind so its focus is less on luxury and more about being affordable. This ethos also fits in well with the bohemian nature of the Westbourne Grove area. The Yumi coffee shop is open from 7am until 1am daily while the 1356 bar with plasma screen TV is a convenient spot for a late night drink.

The hotel is good value for London. The English breakfast was very tasty and the price was right. There is a very limited menu for the evening but again, the food is good and the price is reasonable.
The nearest tube is Bayswater and it's about 7 minutes'walk from the hotel. There was some confusion over the price breakdown of the two rooms in our party, even if the total price was correct, but it was finally sorted out after some insisting. They have a complicated way of "blocking" money on your card and this should be made clear from the start on your website.  |

The hotel is old & needs remodeling. the floors creak when you walk,so you can hear everyone going down the hall & people walking around in their room. it is on a quiet street & in a good location, near the underground & shopping. |
