Thistle Marble Arch, a classic Art Deco hotel, is one of the few hotels overlooking Oxford Street - one of London's most famous shopping districts. With Bond Street not far and Hyde Park opposite, it is the perfect place to explore London attractions and the West End. Set in a “brilliant”, “central” location overlooking Oxford Street and just a “one minute walk to Selfridges”, this hotel has “cosy”, “good sized” rooms that are “excellent for the money”. A couple of non-smoking rooms “smelt of stale smoke” when the air-conditioning was on but, on the plus side, the hotel was generally described as “very clean”. All staff members were found to be “friendly and helpful” and at reception guests mentioned that checking in and out was “very quick”. After a good night’s sleep it was great to wake up to an “excellent” breakfast with a “good choice” on offer.
