Stayed overnight at the hotel, excellent location for all tourist destinations, right on the corner at Trafalgar Square. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, nice room, all amenities in the room. Very comfortable bed and very quiet room. Will definitely stay again when in London and would recommend.

If you are looking for luxury and romantic hotel. It is not yours. It offers convenient and bigger room choice. Room rate was reasonable (space vs cost). Service was decent and polite. Nothing extraordinary but good enough. Have no idea how the hotel food was since we had dinner plan arranged in advance. Many restaurants, convenient shops nearby. It's Hilton hotel. It took us a long time to arrive at the hotel from the Airport due to poor traffic around Trafalgar Square. Plan ahead. Roof top bar was nice. Great view (Trafalgar Square, River and London Eye) and wide selection of beverages. A wonderful place to hang out in the afternoon when the sun is out. A lot of smokers so please ask for a better table if you can. Will recommend this hotel and will return. I am happy with the overall experience.

The best thing about this hotel is the rooftop bar. The rooms are large and airy but a bit cold and not much decoration for the price. I had a few issues booking and communication with staff was difficult, delt with an american person a few times who kept talking to me like a robot and not actually listening to what i was saying and a few promises of call backs that didnt happen so had to keep ringing. All the staff are foreign and had problems understanding my scottish accent so trying to explain things over and over was very frustrating and i must say stressful booking expeirence i think the hotel could work on this because it was very confusing and offputing when booking. However when we arrived the staff at the desk were lovely in person. The location here is excellent good buzz as its right on the square and the views from vista are very special. I wouldnt stay here again as i just feel the rooms could be better but i would visit the vista bar again.

My partner and I recently spent two nights at The Trafalgar Hilton as part of a birthday weekend. We arrived in London pretty early on and traveled to the hotel to leave our bags until it was nearer the check in time. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very friendly face who informed us that if we would like to wait in one of the bar areas, we could get into our room fairly shortly. I opted to head over to Notes for a coffee and a bite to eat instead and returned around 1:30pm where we were allowed early access to our room - first big tick for the hotel!
I had paid for a deluxe plus room and was allocated room 211 which had a lovely partial view over Nelsons Column, a split level seating area and a very large kingsize, if not super-king bed. The rooms are very minimalist and although some other reviews state that the furniture may look dated, or cheap, to me it looks like just the sort of 'vintage' furniture one may find in BoConcept! I was extremely happy with the room as a whole, there was a vast amount of space and it was very quiet considering its location - second big tick! The bathrooms follow the same minimalist design, with ours having a separate bath and glass box shower which was very enjoyable! The bathrooms are suppled with a generous selection of Pecksniffs amenities.
The location of this hotel really is fantastic if you are touring London for the first time. Landmarks such as: The Strand, Nelsons Column, The Mall, Southbank, Big Ben, Parliament, No 10 DS, Covent Garden and Buckingham Palace are all within walking distance from The Trafalgar. Third big tick!
We had a chance to experience the new breakfast menu which I was perfectly happy with. If you are expecting a full english grill then you may be disappointed. This breakfast buffet definitely caters for a more continental palate. There are some bacon and egg rolls for those looking for a more traditional grill, but other than that it's; hams, cheese, bagels, cereals, fruits, muffins, quiche, fruit juice, salad and no doubt other bits and bobs I have missed out.
I'd say that this hotel does a good job at being a 'boutique' labeled hotel. The staff are very attentive and the concierge staff are wonderful. I'd say the staff do go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible, for example, on the day of my birthday, a small tray of sweet treats was delivered to my room with some sparkling water.
Give it a try!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Hilton Trafalgar in London. The staff was most helpful and the location is the best. The rooms are a bit minimalistic - but comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The new breakfast plan, offering more selections quickly accessible was well managed by an extremely attentive team. Extra thanks to Ceasar in the lounge - for taking such good care of us. Small problems included a room thermastat that ran at the same temperature regardless of adjustment. Also a jutting bed frame, which I painfully became acquainted with on a nightly basis. All in all - a great place to stay in London.
