The Medieval Banquet T51

The year is 1529 and culture has never been so riotous!

Marvel at the spectacle of medieval styled entertainment playing out before your eyes as knights, troubadours, contortionists, magicians, jugglers, minstrels and medieval tumblers all play their part in transporting you to the halls of King Henry VIII in this hugely entertaining dinner theatre experience.

The Banquet
Join Henry VIII and his court of knights, troubadours, contortionists, magicians, jugglers, minstrels and medieval tumblers at this most royal of banquets and enjoy a four course feast with ale and wine brought to your table throughout the meal by dancing wenches. Banquets are cooked in house using fresh ingredients.

The Entertainment
Music is drawn from the Medieval and Renaissance courts of Europe and covers the periods of the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. Musicians are at the forefront of a re-emergence of Medieval English and European musical culture. The music is robust, engaging and emotive, bringing to life 800 year old musical manuscripts that have long been the domain of specialists and enthusiasts. There are many opportunities to dance with the cast, sing, bang your fists on the table and cry for your wench to bring you more food or drink! After the banquet enthusiastic guests are keen to get up and have a dance themselves so club music is played till late.

Centrally located in the beautiful and historic St Katharine Docks alongside the River Thames, just a two minute walk from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
