Playing the PicturesqueArchitectural design studio You+Pea has created Playing the Picturesque, an interactive installation exploring the boundaries between virtual and physical space. On display at the RIBA Architecture Gallery as part of the London Festival of Architecture, the installation presents a series of follies by 19th century architect John Nash, placed in interactive virtual games. Responding to the festival's theme of 'Boundaries', it asks the question: are virtual worlds architecture in their own right?

About RIBA Architecture Gallery

A continuous series of exhibitions and events of architecture and design are held in this fantastic 1930s Grade II listed building. There is an architectural information point, a large bookshop as well as a cafe and bar. This is also the home of the British Architectural Library which is open to non-members buying day tickets.
