The Girl On The TrainPaula Hawkins' best-selling novel, The Girl on the Train, is brought to life on the London stage once again this summer when it transfers to the West End. After a successful UK tour, the production comes to the Duke of York's Theatre for a limited three and a half week run. Directed by Joe Murphy, the tense psychological thriller will see Samantha Womack take on the role of Rachel Watson, starring alongside Oliver Farnworth. Longing for a different life, Rachel finds escapism by watching a seemingly perfect couple through the train window on her daily commute to work. But when the woman in the couple goes missing, Rachel ends up getting involved in ways that she could never have imagined.

About Duke of York's Theatre

This West End theatre has more than its share of name changes. Originally called The Trafalgar in 1894, it became the Duke of York's to honour the future King George V. During the late 1990s, the name was temporarily changed to The Royal Court Theatre. More about Duke of York's Theatre
