With over 23 years of experience providing mental health creative day care, Core Arts is a registered charity that promotes the artistic and creative abilities of people with enduring mental health issues. Providing quality education, training, employment and social enterprise initiatives, it promotes positive mental health and wellbeing through creative learning. Based in Hackney, the centre offers more than sixty classes a week under five departments: art, music, multimedia, horticulture and sport. All courses are taught by PGCE trained, established and practicing tutors, and there are also bookable recording studios, exhibition spaces, art studios and an ICT suite.
