Visitor Information
The former Shoreditch Underground Station closed in 2006, and while the rest of the line re-opened in 2010 as part of the London Overground network, poor old Shoreditch was replaced by Shoreditch High Street. The building was then auctioned by Transport for London in February 2011 and has since been renovated and transformed into an arts and events space, with a decked terrace running directly under Brick Lane and the old station ticket hall. The venue hosts special one-off events and in 2014 is home to the Hot Tub Cinema. Situated on Pedley Street, off Brick Lane, access is via a pedestrian lane next to Kinkao Thai Restaurant.
