The third and largest of Larry Gagosian's London galleries, on Grosvenor Hill in Mayfair, is just around the corner from his 'shop window' of a gallery on Davies Street. Designed by Richard Rogers' Caruso St John, the 180-square-metre gallery consists of two double-height gallery spaces and two smaller connecting areas, with large openings in between, designed to create an easily adaptable space to show a wide range of different works. With this addition, Mayfair has re-asserted itself as the destination for London's top art galleries with David Zwirner, Victoria Miro, Hauser & Wirth, Sadie Coles HQ, PACE, Michael Werner and Spruth Magers all in the same well-heeled neighbourhood. Adding another string to their bow, in 2017 Ruth Rogers opens a restaurant below the Gagosian gallery at 20 Grosvenor Hill.
