ArcelorMittal Orbit designer Anish Kapoor has collaborated with Belgian artist Carsten Holler, who gave us the big slide outside the Hayward Gallery in summer 2015, to create a giant slide down the side of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park landmark. When it opens in June 2016, the slide will be the world's longest and tallest tunnel slide, measuring approximately 178m long and will be 76m high. The descent will take about 40 seconds with sliders averaging a speed of six metres a second, or around 15mph. There are transparent sections on the slide so you can marvel at the view on the way down.
