Following the success of its Romilly Street restaurant, BaoziInn - best known for its colourful dim sum and dan dan noodles - branches out to a larger, three floor flagship restaurant close to Borough Market. Seating 120 people, the Chinese restaurant comes with open kitchen on the ground floor, a cocktail bar and lounge. As with the Soho restaurant and their hatch at Market Hall Victoria, the food focuses on Hunan and Sichuan street food dumplings, skewers and buns. Cantonese roast meats are also a central part of the Southwark Street restaurant where dishes include chef's special recipe barbeque roast duck and crispy roast pork belly. It's brought to you by the Barshu group which opened Barshu, a Sichuan restaurant "tapping on fine dining's door" (Evening Standard) 12 years before. BaoziInn's "porky meatball in a soft, fluffy steamed bun" (Telegraph) come recommended by Jason Atherton, no less.
