Chef Phil Howard, in partnership with Rebecca Mascarenhas, who together already co-own two successful London restaurants - Kitchen W8 in Kensington (which has one Michelin star), and Sonny's Kitchen in Barnes - are behind this restaurant on the site where Tom Aikens Restaurant used to be. Elystan Street , in Chelsea, serves modern British menus with different formats for lunch and dinner, but both offer, according to Phil, "delicious, clean, ingredient-led dishes, full of natural vitality. The aim will be, as it always has been, to give great pleasure." The exterior and interior spaces have been renovated and redesigned by Clare Nelson Design, with room for up to 64 in the restaurant and 12 in a private dining room.
